Season 2 of Star Trek: Picard, starring Patrick Stewart, premieres on Thursday, March 3, 2022.
Like Season 1, the new season will be shown on the streaming service Paramount+. New episodes will drop weekly starting March 3, with a total of 10 episodes. The Season 2 finale is scheduled for May 5.
Star Trek: Picard follows Jean-Luc Picard, former captain of The Starship Enterprise from Star Trek The Next Generation. In Season 2, Picard is menaced by “Q,” the extra-dimensional being of unknown origin with power over time, space, the laws of physics, and reality itself. Picard and his companions are sent back in time and are trapped in 2024 when reality is broken by Q as part of the ultimate trial for Picard. They must race against time to save the future of the galaxy.
Season 2 stars Sir Patrick Stewart (Admiral Jean-Luc Picard), Jeri Ryan (Seven of Nine), Michelle Hurd (Raffi Musiker), Santiago Cabrera (Cristóbal Rios), Evan Evagora (Elnor), Alison Pill (Agnes Jurati), and Isa Briones (Soji Asha).
Season 2 also features special guest stars reprising their roles from The Next Generation, including John de Lancie as Q, Whoopie Goldberg as Guinan, and Brent Spiner as Dr. Altan Inigo Soong, the creator of Data.
