Google will return a list of restaurants; look for restaurants that have a green check for Dine-in. The list is not always correct so it’s a good idea to call first and ask if the dining room is open.

Applebees
The popular bar and grill chain has opened many locations for dine-in service. To find out if your location is open, it appears the information is not available online so you’ll need to call your local Applebees. You can find your local Applebees at: Applebees Locations
Applebees announced these precautionary measures:
- Ramping up the frequency of cleaning, sanitizing and disinfecting services in restaurants including, frequently cleaning all high-touch surfaces and areas, such as doors, door handles, seats, booths, condiments and tabletop technology, as well as frequent cleaning of restrooms throughout the day and a full cleaning of restaurants each night.
- Educating team members on preventative measures as provided by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), including heightened hand washing procedures and requiring team members who do not feel well to stay at home.
- Closely monitoring the situation and following guidance by the CDC to protect guests and team members and to help prevent the spread of the virus.
Bonefish Grill

“Our dining rooms are starting to safely open at limited capacity and hours to comply with state and local regulations. Please be aware that due to social distancing guidelines, the number of guests seated per table may be restricted,” the chain said. Burger King
BK has opened select locations for dine-in service. To find out if your location is open, click on: Burger King locations. Select the location you want to visit and click Hours and Info. Dine-in hours, if any, will be listed.
Restaurant Brands International, owner of Burger King, Popeyes and Tim Hortons, announced these protective measures:
“We have deployed stringent cleaning and hygiene standards at all restaurants and have continuously enhanced them so that our restaurants are some of the safest places for guests to get food during this crisis. Some of the measures we have taken include sanitizing all high contact surfaces with increased frequency and making hand sanitizer available for team members and guests.
“We have also implemented comprehensive social distancing procedures for team members and are in the process of deploying 15,000 infrared thermometers to all Burger King,Tim Hortons andPopeyes restaurants to confirm that team members are healthy as they arrive for shifts.
“We are now moving into the next phase of reopening dining rooms according to guidance from local authorities and will be welcoming back millions of guests to dine in at our convenient locations.”
Chili’s
The Tex-Mex chain has opened locations for dine-in service in about 14 states. To find out if your location is open, it appears the information is not available online so you’ll need to call your local Chili’s.
“We are opening our dining rooms in states where permitted and are safely ready to keep serving you – whether it’s with us in person or in the comfort of your own home. You can expect the following health, cleanliness and safety measures listed on this page with any type of order you place with us!” Chili’s said in their openings announcement.
Cheddars

Cheesecake Factory
The Cheesecake Factory announced June 2 that it has about opened 34 locations for dine-in service. The chain expects to have 65% of its locations open for dine-in service by mid-June. Cracker Barrel
The home style restaurant chain has opened for dine-in service in many locations. To find out if the location near you is open, enter your zip code on the Cracker Barrel Locations page. The location details will say whether dine-in service is available.
Dennys
The 24-hours-per-day family restaurant chain has opened for dine-in service in many locations. To find out if your location is open, unfortunately it appears the information is not available online so you’ll need to call your local Denny’s and ask. The latest Coronavirus update from Denny’s states: “We invite you back into our dining rooms with the utmost confidence that our sanitation procedures have been enhanced to include:
- Masks and gloves are worn by team members
- Removal of multi-touch items from the tables
- Social distancing throughout the restaurant
- A trained Sanitation Specialist who cleans every chair, table, highchair, menu and condiment container after every guest
- Disposable menus available upon request
- Washing of team members’ hands every 20 minutes with soap and water followed by alcohol-based hand sanitizer.”

IHOP

Olive Garden

Ensure Team Member Wellness
All team members are being screened to ensure they are symptom-free before returning to work, and we are conducting daily temperature checks at every restaurant before team members are allowed to begin their shift. We are also ensuring team members take advantage of our Paid Sick Leave policy if they do not feel well.
Maintain Clean Restaurants
Prior to welcoming guests back into our dining rooms, we are thoroughly cleaning and sanitizing the entire building using proven procedures and processes known to protect against contagious viruses like COVID-19. In addition to our already strict restaurant cleaning procedures, which exceed CDC guidelines, we will continue to regularly disinfect all guest and team member touchpoints using our CDC-approved disinfectant. This includes, but is not limited to, disinfecting guest tables after each use, as well as table top tablets, check presenters, menus, pens, restrooms, door handles and other common surfaces.
Practice Social Distancing
We are reconfiguring our dining rooms to create more space between tables. We are also taking steps to ensure there is no congregating in our lobby and bar areas.
Wear Protective Equipment
Following the CDC’s updated guidance regarding face coverings, we are requiring all team members to wear masks. Our culinary team members will continue to wear gloves, and all team members will continue to practice frequent and effective handwashing.
On the Border

Outback Steakhouse
The casual steakhouse chain has opened many locations for dine-in service. To find out if the location near you is open, enter your zip code on the Outback Locations page. The location details will say whether dine-in service is available.

P.F. Chang’s

Popeyes

Red Lobster

Tim Hortons

Waffle House
Many locations are now open. Select your location to see details on whether it is open for dine-in. Waffle House is normally open 24 hours a day but during the Coronavirus pandemic many have limited hours.
Other Updates
The following chains are not open for dine-in yet but are making plans now to reopen.
Chick-fil-A posted this update on May 29: “Our restaurants are locally owned and Operators are following the guidelines of their individual communities when it comes to expanding service offerings. This means Chick-fil-A restaurants will open for carry-out and in-restaurant dining on different timelines.”
Starbucks posted this update on May 21: . “We are expecting more than 90 percent of our stores to be open by early June, under modified operations and hours. We have adapted these protocols for the U.S. and our goal is to exceed the standards outlined by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention for a safe experience, including heightened emphasis on cleaning and sanitizing protocols in our stores. Customers will be able to find a store, check store hours, order ahead and use contactless payment with the Starbucks® App. Plus, customers can get their favorite Starbucks food and drinks without leaving home with Starbucks® Delivers, offering a convenient way to place an order through Uber Eats. Starbucks Delivers is now available nationwide (in 48 states where both Starbucks and Uber Eats operate).
