AMC, Regal and more theatres have every movie priced at $4 for National Cinema Day on Sunday, August 27, 2023.
Every movie, every showtime and every format is just $4 at participating theatres. The $4 movie special is to celebrate National Cinema Day, which started during the Covid pandemic but was continued this year. About 3,000 locations are participating in the $4 movie deal.
Summer blockbusters including “Barbie,” “Oppenheimer,” “Mission: Impossible” and “Blue Beetle” are on included in the deal, as well as “Gran Turismo,” a new film opening this weekend.
The $4 ticket will apply to all movies, screens and formats, including IMAX, 3D and other premium formats, according to The Cinema Foundation, which sponsors the event. Some theatres are also offering specials on concessions (see below).
Added Cinema Day Specials at AMC
AMC Theatres announced that in addition to the $4 ticket special, it will have $5 combos. Get a small drink and small popcorn for just $5, AMC says on its home page.
Added Cinema Day Specials at Regal
Regal Cinemas announced that in addition to the $4 ticket special, it will have $4 combos, an expanded show schedule on Sunday, and a 12:01 am Sunday start for select theatres, with $4 tickets. See more details at: National Cinema Day at Regal.
Added Cinema Day Specials at Cinemark
