Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin are back with the final 12 episodes of their adult comedy series, Grace and Frankie. The series returned to Netflix on Friday, April 29, 2022.
“It’s the end of an era … The final episodes of Grace and Frankie premiere April 29,” Netflix announced on its Facebook page.
Grace and Frankie was first shown on May 8, 2015 and the irreverent 30-minute comedy series was an immediate hit. The series was renewed six times. The seventh and final season had a partial premiere on August 13, 2021, with four episodes being completed and released before the COVID pandemic returned and disrupted production.
On Friday, April 29, 2022, Netflix released the complete season with twelve more episodes. Below is a preview of the Season 7B episodes.

Meanwhile, although Grace and Frankie is coming to an end, Fonda and Tomlin have signed on to co-star in a theatrical movie to start filming in 2022. The new film is tentatively titled titled Moving On.
In Moving On, Fonda and Tomlin portray two old friends who plot to get to revenge on the widower who betrayed them decades before. Also starring in Moving On are Malcolm McDowell and Richard Roundtree. The director is Paul Weitz. Read more at IMDB.

The series follows Grace, a retired cosmetics mogul, and Frankie, a hippie art teacher, whose husbands, Robert and Sol, are successful divorce lawyers in San Diego. Grace and Frankie’s lives are turned upside down when Robert and Sol announce that they are in love with each other and are leaving their wives. Now, the women, who have never particularly liked each other, are forced to live together and learn to unite and cope with difficulties.
