Dick Van Dyke, who turned 95 last year, will be honored in a Kennedy Center awards ceremony on CBS Sunday night.
At 8 pm ET Sunday, June 6, 2021, CBS will broadcast The 43rd Annual Kennedy Center Honors. Van Dyke will be presented the honor by his Mary Poppins co-star, Julie Andrews.
“With a charm that has made him one of the most cherished performers in show business history, Dick Van Dyke has brought us beloved film, stage, and TV characters adored by generations of fans, for more than seven decades,” said Kennedy Center Chairman David M. Rubenstein.
Other honorees are Debbie Allen, Joan Baez, Garth Brooks, and violinist Midori. The awards ceremony was taped in May. For more details visit: The Kennedy Center Awards.
